There are only a few cases where we ask for personal information when using sign up forms on www.cleantechimpactexpo.com.

 

PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION INFORMATION
We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the site, place an order, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site.   • Information Shared with Other Users for Certain Events.
    We may create event-specific web pages or use a third party event app, for example, to allow those that attend to see who else is attending the event.
     

  • Information Shared with Our Services Providers.
    We may engage third-party service providers to work with us to administer and provide the Services. These third-party services providers have access to your personal information only for the purpose of performing services on our behalf potentially for payments and, in the case of payment processors, are expressly obligated not to disclose or use your personal information for any other purpose.

    We may use Google Analytics, a service provided by Google, Inc., to gather information about how users engage with our Site and Services.   • When you join one of our networks you agree that your photo, your full name, short bio, company name and links to your social media profiles and websites will be posted on our website. We may occasionally connect you with other members per your or their request as part of our match-making services.
     

  • When you submit your blogs, articles, videos, research and scientific papers to us to post on our website, you agree that you have the full rights for the content and you give us royalty-free rights to your assets and allow us to share and promote the materials to our network by publishing on our website and or via our email and social media marketing campaigns.
     

  • Occasionally we will ask you to answer poll questions to serve you better where we may ask for personal information, such as full name, company name, email and title. We reserve the right to share the results of the polling data (not the personal info) on our website, social media and email campaigns as it may serve the purpose to benefit you and our network. 

 

HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION
We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our Site. We use a CRM and use several API over to connect our CRM to third party providers such as for mailing, data collection, as payment method, and for accounting. You can always contact us to exercise your right to know the data we have from you and to delete your data.

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers for the purposes outlined above. We may use third party service providers to help us operate our business and the Site (Wix) or administer activities on our behalf, such as sending out newsletters or surveys (Constant Contact). We may share your information with these third parties for those limited purposes provided that you have given us your permission.
